    Idee Neues Mainboard

    Hallo zusammen,

    ich wollte nur ein neues Mainboard zulegen.
    Dabei ist folgendes zu beachten: So günstig wie nur möglich.
    Das heisst, alle Teile wie z.B. Grafikkarte / CPU / RAM etc. sollten die gleichen anstecker haben.
    U.a. ist auch das Gehäuse zu beachten (Abmessung).

    Warum neues Mainboard?
    Ich wollte ggf. auf DDR4 umsteigen.
    Bzw. kann der jetztige Mainboard nur MAX. 4 GB annehmen (Was viel zu wenig ist).

    Welches Mainboard könnt ihr da empfehlen?

    Die hat noch den LGA 775 Socket. Damit bekommst du sicher kein DDR4 ^^

    Standard AW: Neues Mainboard

    Die wichtigste Frage ist erst mal: Was willst du damit machen bzw. erreichen? Poste mal bitte deine genauen Anwendungsfälle, ohne mehr Details kann man nichts konkretes empfehlen.
    Was auf jeden Fall feststeht: Der Prozessor ist wie @Bubble Gum bereits sagte recht alt (von 2008), das restliche System wird auch ungefähr 10-11 Jahre auf dem Buckel haben. Und die schnellste CPU war das schon damals nicht. Von dem kannst du bestenfalls die Festplatte als Zweitspeicher und ggf. noch das Gehäuse/Netzteil (wenn es die Mini-PC Ausführung ist wohl nicht mal das) weiterverwenden.

    Und so sehr würde ich mich nicht auf DDR4 festlegen, grade wenn es "So günstig wie möglich" sein soll. Je nach Anwendungsfall kann DDR3 noch vollkommen ausreichen. Auf dem Gebrauchtmarkt kann man etwas ältere, aber noch durchaus leistungsstarke Hardware recht günstig bekommen. Wenn das (jüngste) Debakel um die Intel-Sicherheitslücken für dich nicht so relevant ist, eine günstige Möglichkeit. Bei einer Neuanschaffung würde ich bei den Ryzons von AMD schauen, die haben das mit Abstand beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Durch die neue 3000er Generation werden die Vorgänger auch günstiger. Und die haben auch schon recht viel Power.
